General Questions

Yes. Our HACCP 101 course is accredited by the HACCP Alliance.

Our other courses are proprietary and accredited by Safe Food Alliance. 

Yes.

All of our courses offer a “Certificate of Completion” when you have completed the course. 

The HACCP Alliance requires us to administer an exam at the end of the course. If you pass the exam you will be awarded a “Certificate of Achievement”. If you don’t pass the exam you will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion” for your time, but not an achievement cert. 

FOR THE HACCP 101 COURSE 

If you don’t pass the HACCP 101 exam with a minimum grade of 72% you will be issued a certificate of completion, for your time, but not a certificate of achievement. If you want to earn a certificate of achievement you must retake the course.  

FOR OTHER COURSES 

The quizzes are learning tools to aid in your comprehension, but they aren’t required to complete the course. 

If you don’t pass the exam and would like to retake the HACCP course you are welcome to do so, however you will need to register again.

If you are purchasing a course for an employee, it is important that you register using their information. The initial registration information is used to generate the certificate upon course completion. 

Meaning, if you purchase a course for an employee, but use your information, the certificate awarded at the end will have your name on it.

Troubleshooting

Reset your password on the Dashboard Page

  • Navigate to the Dashboard page.
  • Click the Lost your password? link.
  • Enter your email address
  • Check your email for a reset link

Every course must be completed within 90 days of purchase. If your course expires before you complete it you can preserve your progress by purchasing the course again. Once the course is purchased, you can pick up where you left off. Unfortunately, we do not offer manual extensions.  

We cannot change the certificate name after the fact because we are unable to verify which person actually took the course. This is why it is critically important you register with the correct user information first. 

If you realize you have registered under the wrong name or email address, please contact us immediately at support@safefoodacademy.comYou must contact us within 2 business days of purchasing the course to have the name updated.
